Lauren Fearenga
Senior Technical Adviser
Lauren is a biologist with an MSc by Research. Her Master’s project studied the effects of anthropogenic noise on coral reef ecology in the context of Marine Protected Areas. Prior to joining ITOPF, she worked as a consultant ecologist on large infrastructure projects in the UK.
Since joining ITOPF in 2019, Lauren has attended incidents in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, and delivered training to governments, inter-governmental agencies and other organisations in these regions.
She is a Chartered Biologist with the Royal Society of Biology (RSB) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environment Management (CIEEM).
ITOPF Working Groups
Lauren leads the internal Environment Damage Working Group and is a member of the Waste Working Group.
