Korea Coast Guard Oil Spill Response Workshop – Sejong City, Korea

ITOPF has been invited by Korea Coast Guard to participate in an oil spill response workshop at its headquarters in Sejong City on 29th and 30th March. The workshop is expected to involve up to 150 coast guard officers and on-scene commanders and the intention is that there will be technical exchange during the two days on the subject of effective and reasonable at-sea response techniques. The workshop is expected to involve a series of presentations by Korea Coast Guard, ITOPF and open discussion sessions, followed by a table-top exercise. Alex Hunt, Technical Team Manager for the Asia-Pacific Team, is due to attend on behalf of ITOPF.
