PetroEnvironment 2016, Saudi Arabia, 22-24 February 2016
ITOPF is a media sponsor of PetroEnvironment 2016, the 8th symposium and exhibition on environmental progress in the petroleum and petrochemical industry, held under the patronage of H.R.H. Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province. Dr Karen Purnell will be attending the event.
PetroEnvironment will focus on the environmental progress in the petroleum and petrochemical industries, highlighting the importance of environmental and sustainability issues in the upstream and downstream sectors. It is being held under the auspices of the Environmental Technology and Management Association (ETMA) and will unite environment and petroleum/petrochemical professionals to explore solutions to current and future challenges.
PetroEnvironment will feature a range of interactive workshops across two days from 21-22 February 2016, including remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon impacted sites and industrial hazardous waste management workshops.
The 2016 key note speakers will include, Dr. Abdul-Majeid Haddad, Regional Climate Change Coordinator, Manager of Implementation United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Regional Office For West Asia (ROWA), Khalid Abuleif, Advisor to the Minister, Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources, Dr. Benno Böer, Ecological Sciences Advisor - Africa, Science Specialist - Ethiopia, Yves Thelier, Vice-President, Oil & Gas, VEOLIA.
The symposium will also be accompanied by an international exhibition.
