Workshop on the use of dispersants to combat oil spills in Germany at sea, Berlin, 12-13 November 2015

Alex Hunt will be presenting a paper on "Operational Experience Worldwide" at this workshop organised by the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) in cooperation with the German Central Command for Maritime Emergencies (HK), the Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG), the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH), and the Independent Group of Environmental Experts "Consequences of Pollution Accidents" at the Central Command for Maritime Emergencies (UEG). Jessika Fuessel of ITOPF will also be attending this event which brings together experts from authorities, research institutions and international organisations to summarise and discuss the current scientific knowledge on risks and benefits of dispersant use.
