INTERSPILL 2022

 

ITOPF is attending Interspill 2022, held at the RAI Exhibition and Conference Centre, Amsterdam, between 21 and 23 June.

During the main conference, ITOPF will be presenting a number of papers and will be acting as Chair for various sessions.

Beyond the conference, ITOPF will also feature on the main exhibition floor, with a VR headset experience, looking at effective aerial surveillance of spills.

Hosting a series of lunchtime science workshops with CEDRE, ITOPF will be speaking on the issues of plastic pollution and sensitive tropical environments in two separate sessions.

These workshops will provide an overview of the main issues faced with spills of plastics and will be addressing challenges related to mangroves, coral reefs and seagrass beds during spill response.

Alongside these activities, ITOPF is presenting a half-day course on Oil Spill Fundamentals at the Interspill Academy. The course looks at exploring the features of oil spills and the essential principles of spill response, hosted by expert technical advisers.
