IOPC Funds hosts ITOPF staff

ITOPF visited the International Oil Pollution Funds Committee (IOPC Funds) offices in London as both organisations delivered series of talks on their work in pollution response. 

Throughout the afternoon, both organisations led discussions on their current projects , work and new developments, including areas for continued collaboration. The two organisations share a longstanding working relationship and the event served as a refresher for new and existing staff on the work and remit of both organisations. 

Among the afternoon's presentations there were discussions led on sanctions and the dark fleet and what trends this may set for shipping into the future. Conversations included the use of technology in incident response and a look at the lessons learned from recent case studies both organisations have been invovled in.
