ITOPF attends Gard Charterers and Traders Seminar
14 October 2016
ITOPF was invited by Gard P&I Club to speak at their tenth Charterers and Traders Seminar, which was held in Geneva on 10th October. Richard Johnson was asked to talk about "atypical" pollutants in a session entitled "Beyond oil - new pollution and the intersection of ecology, law and insurance". He did this through the eyes of ITOPF, referring to practical response and environmental effects of cargoes such as coal, soya beans and vegetable oils. The event was very well attended with 80 guests.
