ITOPF meets with stakeholders in China

ITOPF spent time in China where it met with a key stakeholder, the China Diving and Salvage Association, to discuss areas for future collaboration and training of ship pollution response organisations (SPROS).

As part of the trip, ITOPF also attended the 9th International Underwater Operations and Offshore Industry Expo (UO Expo). David Campion and Jamie Stovin-Bradford represented ITOPF and delivered presentations on traditional oil spill techniques, the importance of communication during a response and new developments in pollution detection and modelling.
