ITOPF presents at international oil pollution compensation regime seminar in Goa

ITOPF was invited to participate in a national seminar organised by the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping of the Government of India from 8-9 June 2017.
The primary objective of the seminar was to raise awareness of the international oil pollution compensation regime including the claims process for clean-up and preventive measures, tourism, fisheries and mariculture, as well as environmental damage and monitoring. Anne Reglain gave presentations on behalf of ITOPF alongside representatives from the International Group of P&I Clubs (IG) and the IOPC Funds. The talks generated plenty of questions and interesting discussions from the 100-strong audience of government representatives and private entities.
