Liability and compensation workshop, Jamaica

ITOPF was invited to participate in a three day workshop in collaboration with the IOPC Funds in Kingston, Jamaica from 27th – 29th November. The workshop was hosted by the Maritime Authority of Jamaica (MAJ) and  included about 30 participants from a variety of government departments and the local oil industry. Mark Whittington delivered four presentations on behalf of ITOPF covering various aspects of claims and compensation.  He also assisted with a desktop exercise on day 3 of the event. The audience was very engaged with the topics discussed, with plenty of questions and lively discussions.
