New edition of Annual Review & Notice of AGM 2022

ITOPF has just published its Annual Review for 2022. This report incorporates financial statements for the year ending 20th February 2022 and provides notice of its Annual General Meeting in London on 16th November 2022.

In the Review, Chairman, Erik Hånell, President & CEO of Stena Bulk, reports on a change of leadership at ITOPF and highlights some of the organisation’s activities and achievements during the last financial year.

ITOPF attended four new incidents in the year under review, including a high-profile case involving plastic ‘nurdles’ in Sri Lanka and a crude oil spill in Peru. In addition, technical advice was provided remotely in response to a further 40 incidents. The team also undertook numerous contingency planning and advisory assignments, and launched a VR training app for aerial surveillance.
